Just when I though life had settled down enough that the urge to write wouldn’t strike again, here I come, making my offering of semi-organized bits and bytes to the tubes. (What the world needs now is another self-important thirty-something….right!) I’m not sure if anything I have to say will be of interest to anyone who doesn’t already know me, but with my imminent return to academia, at the very least I’ll be able to let off a little word-based steam.
I’ll primarily be writing about my return to college after a 10 year “leave of absence.” There will, I’m sure, also be plenty 0f departures to cover all of the other stuff that goes on while I’m avoiding washing the dishes. I’ll talk about my son (just turned 10), my husband (just made dinner), my sister (dealing with a critically ill toddler), my dogs (dealing with their alcohol-related names), and whatever the heck else about which I feel like sharing.
Now, however, it’s time for dinner. Chef-Boyardee-Lips…here I come!
